Located in District 7, 8km south of Ho Chi Minh City’s center, IPPUDO Restaurant Vietnam marks the first branch of the renowned Japanese ramen brand in an emerging urban development. The project involved renovating an existing two-story steel structure building, standing 8m high with a 540m² footprint, into a modern restaurant featuring a semi-outdoor dining space.

Collaborative Approach

Collaborating closely with the project’s lead designers, our team proposed a furniture and interior scheme inspired by the Japanese cultural icon of wooden chopsticks (hashi). This theme translated into a cohesive design language centered on natural wood materials, emphasizing organic textures and minimalist craftsmanship to evoke a sense of authenticity and tranquility. To meet the client’s exacting quality standards, our team prioritized precision at every stage of production. Custom wooden furniture pieces were meticulously engineered to align with the restaurant’s aesthetic and functional requirements, balancing durability with refined detailing.
